FY24 Single Audit Announcement (10/16/2024)

The FY24 Single Audit
monitoring instrument is NOW AVAILABLE IN GME!!
All entities must submit their FY24 Single Audit Questionnaire by December 31, 2024. Please complete this task TODAY, as it should only take you 2 to 3 minutes to do so.

As recipients of federal funding from the Arizona Department of Education, all local education agencies (LEAs) are required to complete a Single Audit Qualifier Questionnaire in the Grants Management Enterprise (GME) system, by December 31st each year, regardless of the amount of Federal award funds spent. The purpose of this Single Audit Questionnaire is to allow you to report whether or not your organization was subject to Single Audit in FY24. If applicable, your FY24 Single Audit Reporting Package will need to be uploaded into GME within 9 months after your organization's fiscal year end date, or within 30 days after receiving your Single Audit Report from a third-party CPA, whichever occurs first.

Failure to complete this Single Audit Qualifier Questionnaire or submit the Single Audit Reporting Package in a timely manner could result in a fiscal hold being placed on all grant reimbursement activity.

For more information regarding how to submit your Single Audit Questionnaire portion of the Single Audit, please refer to this resource document linked HERE.

For direct assistance with the Single Audit, please contact Grants Management at 602-542-3901, Option 3.
